WHO WE ARE

The Community is a founding member of the Christ The King Association, an international organization of Catholic covenant communities, and a full-fledged member of The Sword of the Spirit, an international association of ecumenical communities committed to evangelization and Christian unity.
Ligaya belongs to the Federation of Transparochial Communities in the Archdiocese of Manila. Together with partners-in-mission, Ligaya is a member of the Council of the Laity of the Philippines.
We are a community of disciples on mission.
Our Covenant
In Christ, God has made a covenant with Ligaya, a covenant which Ligaya members have joyfully received and entered into by faith and baptism. He has called Ligaya members to express in a special way this covenant established by His Son, Jesus, through His sacrifice on the cross. He has joined the members together in the bond of steadfast love and faithfulness, and has given them a particular call and mission.

The Basics of Ligaya
Over the years, and under the formation of the Sword of the Spirit community of communities, Ligaya has adopted the following basics of living a covenant community life:
Spiritual Formation – First and foremost in our way of life as a covenant community is the spiritual formation of our members. We go through a period of initial formation, but support it with a process of a lifelong growth in Christian maturity and knowledge of Christ.
Relationship building – We hold true to the covenant with God and with our brothers and sisters in the Community. We live out our calling as a Community relating to one another as a real family, as brothers and sisters committed to build up one another.
Service to the Church – Our primary service to the Church is precisely to live out our life as a covenant Community. Apart from that, we do our part in the evangelistic mission, in the formation of other communities, and in the nurturing of vocations.
