COMMUNITY NEWS

Since 1984, Ligaya ng Panginoon has celebrated the Day of Dedication of Children as our way of expressing not only our gratitude for them, but also conviction that our children belong to God and we have the responsibility to raise them as God’s sons and daughters.

For the children, it is an opportunity for them to see themselves as called by God, as the “heirs” of this precious treasure that the Lord has given to us – the treasure of life in the Spirit and of Christian community.

Through the Day of Dedication of Children, we recognize the role and value of the children of the community, and the significance of continuing God’s mission through our children and our children’s children.

LEADERS' CORNER

Do Not Hold Back - Surrender, Offer, Sacrifice!

There are many reasons why we ought to be joyful, and the main thing that stands out is because we have a God who is all loving and whose faithfulness has endured all these years.

In God's Time, In God's Terms

I am a lawyer by profession. When we entered Pathways, I was a manager in a multinational company. My career skyrocketed while in Ligaya. A year after community weekend, I was made regional director handling Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. For a time, there were discussions of us moving to the regional office in Singapore. But it wasn’t in God's plan then and we happily stayed on although the traveling was tough.

Something to Offer

I am grateful to God for calling me to community when I was a university student and forming me at a young age with all our solid teachings and our rich way of life.
